Drumroll Please! .....Presenting my FIRST DEAR JANE BLOCK!!!!!

The rules are you can't see the back or ask how many seams I picked out and resewed!  I am very happy with how it turned out but, please don't compare it to Jane's original they might not match exactly.  For those Janiac's this is G-6 or Papa's Center Star.  The background is white and the color is a light purple with white polkadots.   I am so excited to be starting this.  So 1 square done and 224 to go....

I machine sewed everything except the inside edges of the large star, they were  hand appliqued to the center star.  I was very glad that I had been doing Block Party Friday those itty, bitty, flying geese work just like large ones.  Thanks Hetty for making me do Flying geese it paid off big time.  The center star went really fast and wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be.

  1. I love it!!!! I wanted to do a dear Jane looks so complicated....I am so excited that you are doing one!!!

  2. That is my goal for this year!! I have loved all of the DJ blocks that I see.
