Elastic was shot and well see the nice brown stain.
With the help of the internet and some fat quarters let me present my new ironing board. It is made to match my purple room. I love it! Thanks for getting me to do this little project. I see lots of different ironing board covers in my future....

That was a great idea to use fat quarters! Now you get to enjoy your beautiful purple fabrics while you iron! I bet it looks great when you walk into your room!
